The Martin Truex Jr. Foundation - Helping Children in Need is proud to announce it’s first foundation event to be held in the NASCAR star’s home town of Mayetta, New Jersey on Thursday, September 18th, 2008 at the Sea Oaks Golf Club. The day will begin with an invitation-only First Annual Martin Truex Jr. Foundation Golf Tournament, and will be followed by a fan appreciation dinner open to his fans and the public. The fan appreciation dinner will be hosted at the Sea Oaks Resort, and is a public event, which will feature a silent auction, raffle, door prizes, live entertainment and autograph session. The Martin Truex Jr. Foundation is dedicated to providing funds to nonprofit charitable organizations who strive to positively impact the lives of children in need. The foundation understands that many local nonprofit organizations are making the biggest impact in their communities despite limited name recognition and limited budgets. It is the goal of the Martin Truex Jr Foundation to provide funds to these organizations in an effort to offer continued support for positive programs that help children in need.
