Mooresville, NC. (March 14, 2008) – The NASCAR Foundation will be celebrating the fifth-annual celebration of NASCAR Day on Friday, May 16th and we need your help to make this the best year yet! Annually held on the Friday before the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Challenge, NASCAR Day is a one-day celebration of the NASCAR Spirit. NASCAR fans, corporations, schools and organizations across the country are encouraged to donate $5.00 and all participants will receive a collectable 2008 NASCAR Day lapel pin for their donation.
For 2008, Martin Truex Jr. Foundation is partnering with The NASCAR Foundation to help raise money for NASCAR Day. As loyal supporters of Martin Truex Jr. Foundation, You have the ability to participate in NASCAR Day and help support both Martin Truex Jr. Foundation and The NASCAR Foundation.
