Martin Truex Jr. Foundation- Helping Children in Need hosted the winner’s of the April’s eBay Mission Fish “Fish Along with Martin & Bono” auction on October 7-8, 2008. The winner’s, Mary Kossick and her mother Marion Kossick, arrived on American Airlines from California at the beginning of the week giving them plenty of time to check out the area’s attractions.
On the day of the “Fish Along,” Martin and Bono arrived by boat at Dockside Deli, located right on Lake Norman in Mooresville, NC. Mary and Marion Kossick were outfitted with fishing poles from Bass Pro Shops which led them to their successful catch of a 6 lb. bass. At the end of the trip, Martin, Bono, and the ladies shared their personal fishing stories while enjoying a nice lunch at Dockside Deli.
